Microneedling in Newark, CA
Collagen rebuilt from underneath, at a depth chosen for your skin — with PDRN and growth factor infusion, and no real downtime.

A Three-Part Approach
If you’re ready for real change rather than surface glow, microneedling combines skin regeneration science with safe, proven ingredients to repair and rebuild your skin.
Microneedling
Creates tiny microchannels in the skin to trigger the body’s own collagen production.
PDRN (Salmon DNA)
A medical-grade regeneration ingredient that calms inflammation, boosts healing and strengthens the skin barrier.
Human Growth Factor Serum
Mimics the body’s natural healing signals to encourage collagen, improve elasticity and fade dark spots.
How Microneedling Actually Works
Your skin already knows how to build collagen — it does it every time it repairs itself. After your twenties it simply stops being asked. Microneedling asks.
The channels
A cluster of very fine needles creates thousands of microscopic channels in the skin. Each one is too small to see and closes within hours — but your body registers every single one as something to repair.
The repair response
That repair response is the treatment. Fibroblasts switch on and lay down fresh collagen and elastin in the layer where your skin’s structure actually lives, not on the surface.
The delivery window
While the channels are open they let serum reach the depth where it can work. The same growth factor complex applied to closed skin mostly sits on top of it.
Nothing is stripped, burned or taken off. That is why there is no peeling phase, and why the real change shows up over the following weeks rather than on the day. Depth is set to the thickness of your skin — never one preset run over every face. The needling pass itself takes under ten minutes for a full face; the rest of your appointment is cleansing, numbing, serum work and calming the skin afterwards.
What Goes Into the Channels
Microchannels are only useful if something good goes into them. The solution worked into yours is a growth factor and cytokine complex grown from human bone-marrow stem cell culture — the same signals your body uses to run repair in any injured tissue. The cells themselves are filtered out before it ever reaches you, so what goes into your skin is the signalling, not the cells.
During — Microchannel Delivery Solution
Applied with hyaluronic acid while the channels are open, so it goes where it is needed instead of sitting on the surface.
Step 1 — Growth Factor Serum
From the morning after: cleanse, then one to two pumps morning and evening while your skin repairs.
Step 2 — Barrier Accelerator
Layered straight over Step 1, with vitamins C, E, B5 and A, ceramides and CoQ10 to support the skin barrier.
Alongside hyaluronic acid it carries TGF-β3, aFGF, IGF-1 and IL-10. That combination is weighted towards calming inflammation and steering repair away from the fibrous, scar-forming route adult skin tends to default to — which matters most if what you are treating is scarring in the first place.
Think diet and exercise: the treatment alone gives good results, but the home serums are what carry them between visits.

Who This Is For
Microneedling works on the structure of your skin rather than its surface. That makes it the right call for some concerns and the wrong one for others.
Acne scarring
Rolling and boxcar scars are depressions in the collagen layer. They respond to repeated stimulation of that layer over a course of sessions — not to anything applied on top.
Texture and pores
Skin that has started to look tired rather than lined: rough texture, pores that read larger than they used to, light that catches the surface unevenly.
Early fine lines
The earlier collagen is stimulated, the less there is to correct later. This is the stage where maintenance is genuinely easier than repair.
Uneven tone and pigmentation
Sun damage, dullness and patchy tone improve as the skin turns over and new collagen lifts the surface more evenly.
Redness and reactive skin
Skin that flushes easily often has a barrier that never fully rebuilt. Rebuilding it from underneath settles the reactivity rather than covering it — though never while a flare is active.
Stretch marks and laxity
Stretch marks are scars too, and they answer to the same collagen stimulation facial scarring does — over a longer course, and with realistic expectations set first.
Scalp sessions for hair thinning use the same principle on the follicle rather than the skin surface — mention it when you book so the right time is set aside.
Not the right call if you are pregnant or breastfeeding, on strong prescription acne treatment within the last six months, or have an active breakout, cold sore or fresh tan in the area. The full list is further down this page — please read it before you book.
How Many Sessions Do I Need?
You’ll notice a glow after a single session. By two or three sessions the collagen matrix is denser and the improvement holds rather than fading. For scarring, laxity and deeper wrinkles, expect a series of six or more sessions spaced 4–6 weeks apart. Your plan is built around your goals.
Most clients see a glow and tighter skin within 3–5 days, with fuller results developing over 4–6 weeks as new collagen forms.
Before & After Your Session
Before you come in
Stop retinol or prescription retinoids at least 3 days before your appointment and arrive with a clean, makeup-free face. After injectable cosmetic treatments or threads, wait at least 2 weeks. For scalp sessions, come with clean hair, cut as short as possible, and no spray or gel.
The first 24 hours
Expect light pinkness to a warm flush that settles within 4 to 72 hours, depending on how deep we go, and skin that feels hot and tight like a mild sunburn. Makeup and SPF can go back on after about 90 minutes, though bare skin until the next morning is better.
The week after
Skin often feels dry and a little crepey for the first week, and light flaking is normal. Moisturise as often as you need to — the more you moisturise, the better the result. Don’t pick at any small bumps.
When This Treatment Is Not the Right Call
Microneedling suits most skin, but not everyone. Tell us before you book if any of the following applies to you — some of these mean we simply reschedule, others mean a different treatment will serve you better.
We will not treat
- Pregnancy or breastfeeding
- A condition that seriously affects your immune system
- Radiation or chemotherapy currently in progress
- Uncontrolled diabetes
- Haemophilia or another bleeding disorder
- Strong prescription acne treatment within the last 6 months
We will reschedule
- An active cold sore, breakout or infection in the treatment area
- Broken or sunburnt skin, or a fresh tan
- Injectable cosmetic treatments or threads in the last 2 weeks
- A chronic inflammatory skin condition currently flaring
Worth telling us anyway
- A history of keloid scarring
- Any medication that affects how you heal
- If you get cold sores — a preventive prescription started the day before makes a breakout much less likely, so let us plan for it
Good to Know
Is this the same as PRP?
No. PRP uses your own plasma; we infuse professionally formulated stem-cell-derived growth factors — more stable, sterile and targeted, with no blood draw.
Will it damage or thin my skin?
No. Microneedling strengthens skin by stimulating collagen and elastin. With proper spacing between sessions it supports long-term skin health.
What should I avoid before your appointment?
Avoid sun exposure, tanning beds, retinoids, exfoliating acids and alcohol for at least 48 hours. Arrive with clean, makeup-free skin.
Can I exercise afterwards?
Avoid sweating and heat — gyms, saunas, hot showers — for 24–48 hours, as it can irritate freshly treated skin.
Pregnant or breastfeeding?
As a precaution we do not recommend growth factor infusions during pregnancy or breastfeeding. Please let us know if you are expecting.
Can I combine it with other treatments?
Yes. We finish with FDA-cleared Celluma LED — red and near-infrared light that lowers inflammation, lifts micro-circulation and pushes fibroblasts to lay down collagen, which is exactly what the microchannels have just asked your skin to do. It should not be combined with strong peels or lasers on the same day.
Does it hurt?
Numbing cream is applied first and given proper time to work — that part is never rushed. Most clients describe a light scratching rather than pain, and there is nothing lingering once it is over. The microneedling pass itself is under ten minutes for a full face.
When can I wear makeup again?
About 90 minutes afterwards, makeup, sunscreen and your usual products are all fine. Leaving your skin bare until the next morning still gives a better result, so most clients book with that in mind.
What is actually in the serum?
Hyaluronic acid and purified proteins — the growth-factor signals that tell skin to rebuild. No human or animal cells, no DNA and no blood. The formulation has been in professional use for over a decade.
Post-Treatment Care
After Your Microneedling Session
Recovery is short, but what you do in the first week has a real effect on your result. The single most useful thing you can do is moisturise more than you think you need to.
Right After
Before You Leave
If you are given a mask, keep it on for at least 5 minutes and up to 20. If you go home with any remaining delivery solution, reapply it every 5–10 minutes until it is used up.
Day One
Leave Your Skin Alone
Ideally apply nothing else until the next morning. Technically products, sunscreen and makeup are safe after about 2 hours, but bare skin overnight gives you a better result.
Day One
How It Will Feel
Skin often feels hot and tight, like a mild sunburn. After a first session, or anywhere treated at the shallower settings, expect mild redness and swelling for 4–24 hours. Deeper sessions can show redness with tiny flecks for 4–72 hours — easily covered with a good mineral makeup.
From Day Two
Your Daily Routine
From the following morning, cleanse and apply 1–2 pumps of the Step 1 Growth Factor Serum, then the Step 2 Barrier Accelerator straight over it. Morning and evening, every day.
The First Week
Moisturise, Then Moisturise Again
Skin loses water faster than usual for about a week and can feel dry or crepey. Carry your moisturiser and reapply whenever it feels tight — up to five times a day is completely fine. The more you moisturise, the better your result.
The First Week
Normal Things That Worry People
Light flaking for a few days is normal. Small bumps or milia occasionally appear — do not pick them, they settle on their own within a few days. Skin can also react more than usual to pet dander and everyday irritants in the first 24 hours.
Come back for your next session in about a month, or whenever we have planned it together. If anything looks or feels wrong at any point, message us rather than waiting it out.
